The Lithuanian Athletic Club and Annunciation parish traditional annual picnic will take place on Saturday, September 16 (1 PM) and Sunday, September 17 (11 AM)! As always, there will be delicious Lithuanian food, refreshments, a fun and welcoming atmosphere, lotteries, music, dancing, and much more. DJ RIMANTAS SAMIS will entertain us with his music. We have invited the NY TRYPTINIS AND NY MAIRONIS SCHOOL DANCE GROUPS to participate. The Lithuanian Athletic Club will sponsor the picnic on Saturday, Sep. 16 and Annunciation parish will sponsor the picnic on Sunday, Sep. 17. All are cordially invited. COME AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS!

NY – Lithuanian folk singing group

September 21, Thursday, 6:00 PM

Thursdays from 6-8 pm a Lithuanian Song Group will take place at SLA 307 (307 W 30th Street, New York, NY 10001). Vaiva Aglinskas will teach the archaic polyphonic form of singing called ‘sutartines’ as well as vivid, melodic songs of autumn. The aim of the group is to introduce people to this type of music, to focus, and to communicate with each other through song. It will be more of a meditation-through-song than a choir and all those who are interested are welcome to come whenever they can!

You are invited to a traditional festival “Oktoberfest Lithuanian way”

This is a festival for entire family, where everybody is entertained. We have games for kids, adults, live music concert by Romualdas Zbleckas, traditional Lithuanian dances, movie for kids under the sky.

Besides traditional Lithuanian beer, we are brewing a batch of beer dedicated to this festival. Traditional Lithuanian food is made by our kitchen chef and home made deserts will be for sale as well.

All money raised during this event will be dedicated to Dr. V. Kudirka Lithuanian school new learning program development. Kazickas family fund will match the money raised by 100%.

Kids under 15 years old – FREE
Rain won’t stop our festival as we have tents and indoor place as a backup.
