NEW YORK COMMEMORATION OF DAY OF MOURNING AND HOPE (IN MEMORY OF LITHUANIAN VICTIMS OF COMMUNIST TERROR).

On Sunday, June 17th, immediately following the 10 AM Holy Mass in the Lithuanian language in the Annunciation parish hall, the New York City Chapter of the Lithuanian-American Community, Inc. will commemorate the Day of Mourning and Hope in memory of the victims of mass deportations of Lithuanians to Siberia which began on June 14, 1941.

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THIS TRAGIC EVENT IN LITHUANIAN HISTORY.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE CURRENT RENOVATION OF THE INTERIOR OF ANNUNCIATION CHURCH, THE MASS ON JUNE 17th (10 AM) WILL BE HELD IN THE ANNUNCIATION PARISH HALL (70 HAVEMEYER STREET, BROOKLYN, NY 11211).

Annunciation parish hall address: 70 Havemeyer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 (corner of Metropolitan Avenue and North 5th Street, near the L and G subways at the Lorimer Street and Metropolitan Avenue subway station).
